THAWEN (meaning defrost) will offer our community a shared experience despite the destabilizing pandemic and harsh Chicago winter. Artistic Director Stephanie Martinez will reimagine kiss., which premiered in October, and invite two other dance-makers to create new works on the artists of PARA.MAR for public, donation-based performances.

Community & Access

We’re diversifying our free community programming to provide classes that serve all of our patrons’ needs and abilities. We will have specialized in-person and live-streamed offerings for families & seniors
